Wilderness Acres is a gated community nestled on a mountain
overlooking Lake Cumberland adjacent to the Daniel Boone
National Forest. The mountain is terraced in a way that views
of Lake Cumberland and the skyline over Pulaski County can be
seen day and night! There are two boat ramps within five
minutes, storage, and several golf courses. One could say that
Wilderness Acres is similar view wise as Gatlinburg other than
we have the 2nd largest lake in the United States! Recreation
is abundant in this wonderful area including hiking, white
water rafting, canoeing, fishing, ATVs, golf, horseback riding,
boating, tubing, skiing, swimming, spelunking, civil war metal
detecting, as well as more commercial type activities.

The Big South Fork Runs through the Daniel Boone National Forest and provides in my opinion the most natural and scenic views in Kentucky. Eagles scream as they do a fly by the steep chimney top cliffs. If you are not a fisherman or don't enjoy the thrill of hunting a 12 point buck, then just take a deep breath and enjoy the adventure of Mother Nature at her finest.

Whether you are a golfer, boater, bird watcher, or just want to get away; Wilderness Acres on the Big South Fork is definitely worth your time and money.
